He remained there until March 31, 1943, and then returned to the Christchurch factory office as a clerk where he remained until February 1, 1949.3

On November 6, 1945, Myers married Joan Marie. Three sons were born to this union, Bruce, Kenneth, and Iain.4 Joan Myers died on March 13, 1966, at the age of 41.5 Following her death, Cameron married Marion Barlow on January 21, 1973.6 She had served as an office secretary in Christchurch, Wahroonga, and the Far Eastern Division in Singapore.7

Between March 1960 and September 1966, he was the factory manager at Christchurch before taking up the same role in the Palmerston North factory. Five years later, in January 1972, he became manager of the Auckland factory until July 1973 when he became manager for the New Zealand operations of the company, a position he held until October 1979.8

From October 29, 1979, to July 7, 1980, Myers was the production manager at the Sanitarium Health Food Company head office in Sydney, Australia. He served as the assistant general manager of the company until the end of 1981 when he became the general manager at the beginning of 1982.
