Kouassi Koffi Frédéric holds a master’s degree in Audit and Management Control. He is the secretary/treasurer of the Western Sahel Mission Union since 2016. He was treasurer of the Adventist College of Bouaké (1992-1995), secretary/treasurer of the Seventh-day Adventist Mission in Côte d'Ivoire (1996-2002), treasurer of Côte d’Ivoire Seventh-day Adventists Conference (2003-2009), associate treasurer of the Sahel Union Mission (2010-2013), and associate-treasurer of the Western Sahel Union Mission (2014-2015). He was also Trust Services and Stewardship director for the Seventh-day Adventist Mission in Côte d'Ivoire. He is married to Kouakou Ahou Viviane and has a daughter and two sons.

Western Sahel Union Mission Union (WESA) Territory: Cabo Verde, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, and Senegal; comprising the Cabo Verde Conference; the Guinea-Bissau, Mali, and Senegal/Mauritania Missions; and the Gambia Region.1

Statistics (June 30, 2019): Churches, 59; membership, 16,289; population, 45,257,000.2 According to the West-Central Africa Division statistical report of December 2019, WESA had 8 schools and 87 companies.3

Western Sahel Union Mission Union was organized in 2013 after the former Sahel Union Mission headquartered in Lomé, Togo was reorganized during the Annual Council of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists held in October 2013. The former Sahel Union Mission (SUM) was reorganized into two administrative units: Eastern Sahel Union Mission (ESUM) with headquarters in Lomé, Togo and Western Sahel Union Mission with headquarters in Dakar, Senegal.4 Following the appointment of its administrators by the West-Central Africa Division during its annual meeting held in November 2013, in Abuja, Nigeria, WESA officially started its activities in January 2014 by organizing its constituency assembly from January 8 to 10, 2014.5

From 2014 to 2015 the headquarters of WESA were on Amitié 2, Rue 11, Angle 10, BP 4668, Dakar, Senegal. In October 2016 it was relocated to Scat Urbam 2 lot G37, 682 Gy Rue 184, BP 4668, Dakar, Senegal.
