The presence of Seventh-day Adventist mission work in Cambodia began in April 1930, with the arrival of General Conference missionary Fred L. Pickett and his wife, Ada Reeder, who had already arrived in Saigon, Annam a few months earlier before heading off to Phnom Penh, the capital of the province of Cambodia.
