​In 1904 delegates in the East Michigan Conference (EMC) voted to open what would become Adelphian Academy. At the time there were only five senior academies in the United States, and none of them were in Michigan. These were South Lancaster Academy, Mount Vernon Academy, Keene Academy, Southern Industrial School, and Oakwood Industrial School. There were twelve “intermediate” schools, which is how Adelphian began – as a ten grade school. Among these twelve intermediate schools was Cedar Lake Industrial Academy (1899), and Battle Creek Industrial School (1904).

AdventHealth University is a Seventh-day Adventist institution specializing in healthcare education in a faith-affirming environment. The physical facilities of AHU were established in 1992, and are still located, on the peninsula which separates Lake Winyah from Lake Estelle in Orlando, Florida next to Florida Hospital’s Orlando campus.

​Adventist Academy-Bacolod (AA-B), formerly Negros Mission Academy (NMA), is part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist educational system. Furthermore, the school received full accreditation by the Adventist Accreditation Agency from April 2013 to April 2016 and a level II accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges, and Universities–Accrediting Agency Incorporated (ACSU–AAI) from November 10, 2013, to December 31, 2014.

​Adventist Academy-Cebu Inc. (Adventist Academy Cebu), formerly East Visayan Academy, is a coeducational boarding school of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It offers pre-elementary to senior high school grades. It is owned and operated by the Central Philippine Union Conference located in Gorordo Avenue, Cebu City, Philippines. This school is situated on an 8-acre piece of land along the national highway of N. Natalio Avenue, City of Talisay, province of Cebu, Philippines.

The Adventist Agricultural-Industrial Academy (Instituto Adventista Agro-Industrial or IAAI) is a boarding school that offers Early Childhood, Elementary, and High School Education. It is part of the Adventist world education network and is owned by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Brazil.

The first Adventist school in Guadeloupe was the school of Rousseau for boys and girls, officially recognized on August 17, 1943, by the town mayor and the town council. The second Adventist educational institution of the colony opened in October 1947, at the behest of the Adventist community in Pointe-a-Pitre. This school officially became La Persévérance in 1955.

The Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS) is a graduate school and seminary operated by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. It is located one hour south of Manila, Philippines, near Silang, Cavite. Its mission is to develop leaders through distinctively Seventh-day Adventist graduate education, excelling in spirituality, scholarship, and service. It serves students from all over the world and often has students and faculty from 70 countries at the same time. AIIAS offers a master’s program in public health and masters and doctoral programs in education, business, and theology.

Adventist School Bouchrieh (ASB) is a coeducational day school operated by the East Mediterranean Region of the Middle East and North Africa Union Mission. Following the education ideals of the Seventh-day Adventist church, it offers four levels of education (kindergarten to secondary) and is accredited by the Lebanese Ministry of Education.

​Adventist Training School of El Salvador is the only educational institution in El Salvador that has boarding accommodations. It is located in the municipality of San Juan Opico, department of Libertad, and it belongs to the Central El Salvador Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

The Adventist University Institute of Venezuela (IUNAV) is the first and only university-level educational institution that the Adventist Church operates in Venezuela. It functions under the legal entity Asociación Civil Instituto Universitario Adventista de Venezuela with the Adventist Church’s sponsorship through constituent unions – East Venezuela Union Mission, West Venezuela Union Mission, and Dutch Caribbean Union Mission.

The university was first established in northern Rwanda in 1978 to serve the Francophone constituency of the then Africa-Indian Ocean Division which included the French-speaking countries of western and central Africa, namely, Zaire, Rwanda, and Burundi, as well as Madagascar, Reunion, Mauritius, and the Seychelles Islands in the Indian Ocean. The university officially opened its doors on October 15, 1984.

​UNADECA is a Seventh-day Adventist co-educational university located in Alajuela, Costa Rica. It exists to offer Christian university education to Central American youth and others who will then provide needed leadership and professional services to the Seventh-day Adventist Church and society in general.

Adventist University of Congo (previously Adventist University of West Congo), Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is located on the territory of the West Congo Union Mission in the East-Central Africa Division.

The Adventist University of Goma (Universite Adventiste de Goma or UAGO) is located in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), in the province of North-Kivu. The “Universite Adventiste de Goma [UAGO]” began in 1999. The University was founded by some lay church members of the Central Kivu Field. In October 06, 2013, the founders gave the management of the University to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Language of instruction is French.

​Agro-Industrial Adventist Trans-Amazon Academy (Instituto Adventista Transamazonico Agro-Industrial or IATAI) is an elementary and high school academy which offers both day school and boarding school. It belongs to the Seventh-day Adventist Church and is part of the Adventist worldwide educational network.

​Alpha Adventist Primary school is located at Msimba sublocation in Kigoma municipality, Kigoma, western part of Tanzania in West Tanzania Field of Seventh-day Adventists which was first organized in 1990, reorganized in 2014, and renamed in 2017.
